Work with fishermen

We have a corporate social responsibility program aimed at strengthening fishermen’s associations to improve their quality of life and allow greater profits in their daily livelihood activity.

Opportunities for women

We are fighting for greater gender equality and the empowerment of women, starting from our workplace. In the administrative area 66% of our collaborators are women, where 41% of them are part of management or leadership positions in the company.

Work with charitable organizations

We work together with different charitable organizations to provide a better quality of life in aspects such as education, prevention of sexual diseases and food delivery. The comprehensive support given by these foundations is reflected in greater well-being for the most vulnerable communities of all ages in the cities of Bogotá, Buenaventura and Cartagena.

  • Foundation Hermanitas Servidoras de Jesús (Buenaventura).
  • Foundation Jesús (Cartagena)
  • Foundation Eudes (Bogotá)
  • Foundation Trabajando por amor (Bogotá)

Use of rainwater for tank washing

The water resource is non-renewable and is limited in our terminals. For this reason, the cleaning of the tanks is done with the collection of rainwater, promoting the responsible use of this resource in our company.

Decreased paper usage

The use of paper generates a negative environmental impact due to its production process. That is why since 2019 we started the implementation of electronic invoicing, which requires less paper. In the same way, we have a filing policy that encourages printing as few documents as possible.

Chivo island cleaning

This island located in the department of Bolívar presents a high degree of contamination affecting the maritime and terrestrial ecosystem. That’s why in 2019 we decided to carry out a cleaning day on the island with the help of the fishermen’s association to improve the current state of the territory and be able to contribute to the conservation of the environment.
